Zoe's life should have been easier. The dragons were found, her abilities unlocked, and she finally had love and respect in her life. Unfortunately, speaking to dragons means she needs to go back to Zimdale's...as a student. Though her magic is a curse, it means training with the Beast Masters - with Niall.
Niall didn't think life would present difficulties after saving the wizard world from the destruction of magic. He wasn't prepared for Zoe in his life as his girlfriend and his student. He's struggling to find the balance, and even though he knows why she can speak with his dragons, he's still a little jealous.
When the dragons begin acting strangely and ignoring Niall's magic, the task to understand falls to Zoe...only her curse is suddenly silent. This time, the pair will need to search the land not for the dragons, but for a reason her ability has vanished. If the dragons aren't tamed once again, the wizards will lose their magic.
