I had some wonderful news I wanted to share with everyone! I've got some more releases to tell you about! :D I was fortunate enough to have other works of mine accepted by the publishing house and am so grateful to everyone on staff their for believing in me and my work. This process sincerely is a dream come true and each and every day is one step closer to knowing exactly what it feels like to do what you're passionate about for work and work for a wonderful company.

So enough of me babbling on here's the info that it's important!
  • My first ever steampunk attempt has been accepted into an anthology! The title is Demon in Steam (Alliance of Silver and Steam). It is a short story that will serve as a prequel for the series Alliance of Silver and Steam. It's paranormal, sexy and filled with victorian fun. Even better? My brain successfully outlined book 2 for the series!
  • Novella number 1, Worlds on Fire, of the Guardian series has been accepted and has a publication date! January 10th, 2015 (yep I sure do have a birthday release!). This story follows a male Word Speaker and Princess  Guardian who are thrown together and one of them wants out.
  • What could be more wonderful than the above to bullet points? I have been blessed with signing the entire Guardian series with Hot Ink Press. So yup that means you're all going to be getting all 5 books and 2 novella's in the sexy world! I hope you're as excited as I am because this series has been part of my brain for so long it's almost sad to finally tell their stories and have them stop stomping around in my head when I'm daydreaming or asleep!
  • Darker Side of Worlds, Book 2 of the Guardians is about 30% rewritten from losing the file when I changed computers and is set to release June 19th, 2015! In case you are wondering why I'm splitting releases 6 months apart it's because I have plans to write other series as well and the "just in case I get writers block" is always important.
  • Not so much news but an update of sorts on what I've been doing. I'm currently editing a contemporary military short story for an anthology.  I've currently outlined 6 stories, don't ask me when my brain will find the time to write them all but that's the plan!!
  • I have been buying little goodies here and there to make some beautiful jewelry swag as well as ribbon book marks for all release parties as well. Plus armed with a great logo and a cafe press discount I bought a few items of author swag too! Take a look I'm pretty thrilled! I've got pens and rubber wristbands coming my way too! :D

Thank you all so much for following me on this journey; for all your support and I hope you enjoy it almost as much as I am! Another special thank you to everyone at Hot Ink Press. <3

So it's finally happening. My dream of being a published author in the world of paranormal romance has come true. I'd love to say I toiled around and submitted millions and millions of places. But I knew where I wanted to call home and I was incredibly fortunate that the owner of the publishing house felt my work was worthy of being an addition to their family.

The amazing house I'm talking about is Hot Ink Press, an imprint of Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly, along with Vamptasy. I could not have asked for a better place for my dream to come true. These three houses are taking the mark by storm but more importantly they are a family. I watched on the outside as a blogger for about three months as these wonderful authors supported each other in a way I've never seen. You could truly feel how much of a family they were and that for me was the most important part, to be with people who I could connect with and support and call friends, not just "coworkers" when the day was over. I couldn't be more grateful to owner SJ Davis for this opportunity. She has made dreams come true for hundreds of authors as well as cover artists, editors and more with her fantastic company. So SJ if you are seeing this, thank you so much!

So what happens next? My novel, Torn Between Two Worlds has been accepted and set for publication on July 15, 2014 through Amazon. The concept that I initially dreamed up back in 7th grade after falling in love with a book character is getting a life of it's own and I am so happy. I hope you will love Stryder and Ciara's story as much as I have enjoyed writing it. So for now I sit back and get the hang of things, support the amazing people at the publishing house and play around with promo photos and continue writing the books in the series, along with a few other projects since my muse finally realized "hey there's something to getting her to finish if she really likes the idea".

Book 1.5 in the series is written and awaiting final judgement as well as my first steampunk for an upcoming anthology. I'm trying my hand at a contemporary military short story for an anthology as well before getting back to where I left off in book 2 of the series. My muse has meanwhile dumped ideas for 3 other series in my lap and I'm twitching trying to figure out if I should go beyond outlining and just write a book from each series or focus on my baby, The Guardians series - so far focusing on that has won but I'm loving the anthologies because it's opening me up to trying new genres I may have been too fearful to hit in a full novel form.

Want to see a promo picture from the series as a whole as well as Torn Between Two Worlds? You're in luck if you do because I'm too excited not to share them!
Last but not least an amazing lit sister from the company created the template for my logo at the top of the site and I love it and I love her for doing it! So much so that I became...ah... addicted to putting it on all the pretty images I could find that I thought may relate to me and my work one day. So if you like looking at pretty photos or just want to see how temporarily vain I was by slapping it on everything check out the slideshow below.
Thank you all so much for your incredibly support on my journey towards my dream. Feel free to book mark this site and check back for important (and sometimes just fun) updates! <3
