You might remember that a little over a year ago, I released a book with this same title! No, you aren't going crazy, and no it's not just a cover change.

Between Realms released January 31, 2023 as 25,000 word new adult novella. That book was always shared that it would only be around for a year before it got a huge facelift! That facelifted book releases today!

Astrid went to sleep after her father’s death in Ireland and woke up in New York City. She’s never felt she belonged in her new life, but her family refused to speak about “before”. A spur of the moment decision quitting her job opens up the chance to return to Ireland and try to put together the pieces she can’t remember. Until an actual unicorn appears in her kitchen, and she has no desire to remember anything.

Ronin would give his life for the king, but masquerading as a human to protect his daughter is almost too much. Astrid isn’t safe in their realm thanks to her human blood, and Ronin can't seem to ignore the unicorn blood coursing through her veins any more than he could resist her beauty.

• Our main character is now in her early thirties with a complete personality swap to match the proper mindset and lifestyle
• Smutty scenes have been added between Ronin and Astrid that I had to cut out completely for the NA
• Over 35,000 words were added which means tons of new scenes!
• Malachi, a unciorn burned by the king takes center stage as a brand new villian. In this version, they aren't just racing to protect Astrid, they have to save the kingdom from a war to overthrow the unicorn king
• Aside from entirely new battle scenes, new fantastical fae creatures have been added so it's not just unicorns, banshees and leprechauns any more!
